Institute for Color Science and Technology (ICPC), which is affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, was inaugurated in July 19th, 1997 under the name of Institute for Colorants, Paint and Coatings to develop knowledge and technologies in all areas of color, paint and coatings. It was promoted to Institute for Color Science and Technology in 2009.
     Since then, the institute had been faced different challenges so the institute is presently fully trained and equipped to play a constructive role in pioneering in knowledge and productions, supporting elites and SMEs in color technology incubator, trouble-shooting for paint industry, developing Know-Hows and promoting paint industry.
     At this time, the institute employs experienced professionals in PhD and master levels in paint and related fields and has effective cooperation with universities, research and industrial centers and successfully trouble-shoots paint industries.
